Leucadia real estate is a quiet beach community, that has retained it easy going beach attitude and family oriented community. Located to in the Northern area of Encinitas real estate, and south of Carlsbad real estate, Leucadia real estate offers many different styles of properties. Leucadia is a great place to live and really enjoy the relaxed beach life style and atmosphere.

Leucadia real estate offers several nice, though small, beaches which are popular with surfers and beach goers due to the great waves that occur along the San Diego County Coast line. Small businesses, surf shops, and casual restaurants line the Leucadia 101 highway corridor. Leucadia's Neptune Avenue is a popular street for residents to enjoy the outdoors which offers beach access to Leucadia which resides on a cliff over looking the Pacific Ocean .

At one time most of Leucadia was covered with nurseries and avocado trees. Today, active nursery growers continue the agricultural tradition of the area. Leucadia has a lush landscaping, many trees,  and vacant land create a relaxed view.  

In Leucadia real estate you will find mostly single-family homes on large usable lots. Older, original Leucadia cottages are intermixed with newer custom homes, many with exclusive ocean views. A few apartment and condominium developments make up the rest of Leucadia real estate, most of which are on the east side of highway 101.
